This program is a sound recorder that can record voice or other sounds directly from your system's microphone. The program's interface has all the elements you can expect in such a program: tape recorder-type controls to record, play, pause and stop recording, as well as advanced options such as Master Volume, Sound Analyzer, and tools like a Background Player and a feature to add notes to your recorded files.
A nice feature is that you can set the program to start recording immediately, or when it "hears" any sound from the microphone. You can customize the program by choosing the default output format (.wav, mp3, .ogg, .acm or .ape), the output file name format, and the appearance of the program (standard or transparent). Although it is a nice program, you can find several free applications with pretty much the same features.
With the trial version, you only can record up to 10 seconds, which in my opinion, is very little time to test the program adequately. It also has a "nag screen" appearing every time you open the program, and the "Try" button activates only after certain amount of time, which increases as you keep your program unregistered. To get rid of these limitations, you need to purchase a registration to your program.
- Easy to use
- Nice interface
- There are free programs that perform pretty much the same functions
